Maintenance Technician
Plymouth, MI
$31- $33.65 per hour
1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week
Overtime Available
Our client seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support production and facility operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining production equipment while ensuring workplace safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and work orders.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
- Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
- Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and overtime, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Associate's Degree or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance.
- PLC and HVAC experience.
- Blueprint reading experience.
- MIG, Stick, or TIG welding experience.
- Competitive Pay: $31.25 - $33.65/hr
