LHH is seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to support daily financial operations. This role is responsible for balancing remits, processing refunds, posting commission and reimbursement entries, and ensuring accuracy within our internal systems of record. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities- Balance and submit remits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Post refunds into the accounting system following established procedures.
- Record commissions and cost reimbursements received from clients directly into our internal system.
- Send Firm Fee funds to the downtown office for processing and reconciliation.
- Issue consumer refunds while ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Correct payment allocations within the system of record to ensure accurate financial tracking.
- Assist with month‑end tasks, documentation, and financial accuracy as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with professionalism.
