Our client is seeking an experienced AP Supervisor to lead their Accounts Payable function within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role will oversee daily AP operations, support month‑end close, and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and strong vendor relationships. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on leadership, a process improvement mindset, and solid manufacturing AP experience.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the AP team, providing daily guidance and performance support
- Oversee full‑cycle AP, including PO and non‑PO invoicing, 3‑way matching, and payment processing
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated invoice or payment discrepancies
- Review and approve AP batches, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Support the month‑end close and assist with audit preparation
- Monitor AP aging, cash flow impact, and workflow efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies
- Partner with Purchasing, Inventory, and Operations teams to support manufacturing workflows
- 3–5+ years AP experience with the manufacturing industry strongly preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory AP experience required
- Strong understanding of 3‑way match, inventory‑related invoicing, and freight/bill‑of‑lading discrepancies
- Systems‑savvy with experience in mid‑size ERP environments
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, fully on‑site environment
