Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Accountant who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants exposure to both corporate accounting and SEC reporting.
What You'll Do- Preparation of month-end journal entries ensuring all month-end expenses are captured.
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statements to ensure accurate cash management as well as other balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare Budget vs. Actual statements at each month end, distributing these to management of organization and fielding phone calls relating to the statements.
- Perform physical inventory counts monthly and the associated journal entries and reconciliation. Assist support center with accounting related questions.
- Prepare SEC reports, including form 10-K, form 10-Q, Proxy Statement, 8-K’s, and Section 16 forms.
- Assist in compiling and disseminating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Projects such as researching invoices and assisting with audits.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- 2 or 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree; or equivalent related experience.
- 2 – 4 years of practical working experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be proficient in Excel and Word, as well as literate with other accounting software.
- Exposure to sales tax compliance and the preparation of month-end journal entries preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must display a high degree of professionalism, ethical standards, confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy in all interactions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills required with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects is essential.
