Accounting Analyst – Nonprofit Industry

• Support management of multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Process or record accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions
• Prepare account reconciliations for prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals
• Prepare, understand, and review basic to moderate financial statements
• Support preparation of general ledger, cash flow, and allocations
• Build process backup at the direction of leadership
• Aid preparation of sales tax returns and Form 1099s
• Prepare audit work papers, tax return work papers, and other client-requested forms or items

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Demonstrates proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions while preparing financial statements and account reconciliations. Capable of supporting audit processes and tax return preparations with a strong foundation in accounting principles.
