Staff Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is partnering with a growing construction related company that is seeking Contract-to-Hire Staff Accountant. This role is 100% onsite and offers the chance to join a collaborative team with long-term potential and growth.

• Prepare monthly financial statements and WIP reports
• Manage construction billing through systems such as Procore and Textura
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries and job cost entries
• Process sales/use tax filings and support 1099 preparation
• Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and payment activity
• Support year-end audits and CPA review processes
• Assist with AP, billing, and project accounting functions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 1+ years of accounting experience
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Experience with Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
