Job SummaryThe role of the Project Coordinator is to assist the Roers General Contracting team and assist in the successful completion of all ongoing projects.
Responsibilities- Provide support for project start-up, job files, records maintenance, close-out:
Includes extensive use of department related software’s. May also include scanning, printing, and plan distribution. - Participate in design and preconstruction meetings to document project status and ongoing tasks for completion
- Assist with daily log of work completed, personnel on-site, material deliveries, delays etc.
- Coordinate with project team on all active items in Procore, assisting in timely completion of submittals, RFI’s, contracts, change orders, safety documentation, and close out documentation
- Assist in document management and distribution of drawings, ASI’s, SSI’s etc.
- Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed, and stored.
- Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing memos, meeting minutes, and emails
- Establish good Owner / Client relationship and maintain / grow the relationship throughout the project in anticipation of continued future work. Make every effort to nurture and develop working relationships with contractors/subcontractors/suppliers involved in the project and overall area.
- General day-to-day office tasks to support the Project Executive and in-office staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 1-2 years in administrative work, preferably construction-related work.
- Knowledge of the general construction industry and the relationship with trade partners.
- Knowledge or experience working on multi-family projects.
- Understanding of construction specifics and standards.
- Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate and manage relationships.
- Highly resourceful problem solver and a quick learner.
- Skillful time management skills and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Operates with the understanding that we do our best when we work together.
- Ability to travel locally.
