Training Specialist
Onsite – Plymouth, Minnesota (Office). Full time.
Responsibilities- Develop training materials and presentations.
- Conduct hands‑on and classroom training sessions.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to identify training needs and develop performance‑improvement strategies.
- Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends and best practices in training.
- Monitor and track training effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
- Provide support and guidance to trainees on service techniques and product knowledge.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistency in training and messaging.
- Design and deliver training programs on service techniques, product knowledge, and company policies.
- Create and update training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge and skill gaps and develop targeted training.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Use various training methods (classroom instruction, role‑playing, hands‑on, online learning) to engage and educate trainees.
- Exercise influential leadership by communicating effectively, building credibility, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
- High‑school diploma (or equivalent) or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field with exposure to water treatment or healthcare fundamentals.
- 3–5 years of training experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and associated MS 365 apps.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Travel requirement: 25%.
- Ability to manage improvement projects throughout the project life cycle, ensuring strategic alignment and deliverable focus.
- Experience with adult learning methods.
- Proficiency with learning content development programs (e.g., Articulate) and learning management systems such as Workday.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Certifications:
Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/Technician (CHT), Certified Hemodialysis Water Specialist (CHWS), or Certification in Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET).
Estimated salary range: $86,000 to $96,000.
