Position Type: Full-Time, Contract (Beginning to End of School Year)
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Shoreview, MN. This position involves working with students across K-5grade levels, providing essential support and instruction tailored to their individual needs. This is a full-time contract role from the beginning of the school year through to the end of the school year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various academic subjects and life skills development.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive educational opportunities for all students.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as necessary to foster academic and social growth.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education
- Valid Minnesota Professional Educator License with LBS1 endorsement (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
