PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Collaborate with building administration in developing and sustaining a high-functioning, multi-tiered system of intervention based on the philosophies and practices within the RAS MTSS framework
- Work with teachers, departments, and teaching and learning specialists to incorporate effective, research-based intervention strategies within the tiered system and monitor implementation fidelity through screening and progress monitoring tools.
- Plan and provide professional development to continuously improve evidence-based instruction
- Work with teaching and learning specialists to ensure that curriculum and other instructional materials used in the classroom are aligned to the priority benchmarks and consistent with district decisions about the use of select curricular materials.
- Work with other instructional coaches and teaching and specialists to continuously improve personal knowledge about high-functioning PLCs, common assessments, MTSS, Equity, and the interface between academic and behavioral intervention plans.
- Attend all district-level instructional coaches meetings and training.
- Conduct coaching cycles, including non-evaluative observations and feedback
- Collaborate with teachers to plan instruction
- Other duties as assigned by building principal
- Current MN teaching license required
- Bachelor's degree in education (Master's degree preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building relationships and connecting with teachers from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively with school leaders, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Robbinsdale Area Schools and a passion for supporting student success.
- Experience in a TOSA or Coordinator role preferred.
