The Semiconductor Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of semiconductor products. This position involves developing and executing test plans, creating electrical test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE), analyzing test data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in product reliability and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background in semiconductor testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, procedures, and test cases for semiconductor devices.
- Design and optimize automated test setups and test scripts to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct detailed analysis of test data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with design, process, and product engineering teams to define test requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
- Provide technical support for production testing and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay current with advancements in semiconductor testing methodologies and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
Master's degree preferred. - Internship or minimum of 1 year of experience in semiconductor testing or a similar field.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and automated test systems.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and testing methodologies.
- Experience with test software development and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
- Expertise in CAD system schematic and layout (routing).
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment such as Prober, handler, and ATE (Automatic Test Equipment).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
