Senior Bridge Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our firm at the Burnsville, MN office. This role involves working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects for State, Local Government, and private clients, with a focus primarily on transportation initiatives.

• Designing bridges and conducting hydraulic analyses for various projects.
• Preparing comprehensive plans, detailed drawings, and specifications for the construction or repair of bridges.
• Undertaking feasibility studies to assess potential bridge projects and solutions.
• Performing load ratings and other essential structural calculations to ensure safety and reliability.
• Carrying out construction and safety inspections to maintain high standards for both new and existing structures.
• Conducting thorough site evaluations to support project planning and execution.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration within project teams and with stakeholders.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Minnesota.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain a strong work ethic and innovative approach, balancing hard work with enthusiasm.

• Willingness to collaborate effectively in both office and field environments as part of a team.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and bridge design software applications.
• Experience in designing highway bridges using AASHTO LRFD specifications and MnDOT standards.
• Certification as an Inspection Team Leader, highlighting expertise in bridge safety evaluations.
• More than five years of progressive experience in bridge-related engineering roles.
