This position is a hands‑on Engineering Manager who leads a Product & Systems Engineering team. This role is responsible for execution, technical direction, and team development in a low‑volume, high‑mix environment. The position is responsible for new product development, sustaining engineering, controls integration, and customer‑specific solutions, with a strong emphasis on system‑level thinking and product architecture.

Salary RangeCompetitive base salary (aligned with experience, ideal salary range of $145–155k with performance‑based incentives or bonus opportunities.)

Roles & Responsibilities- Define and communicate engineering goals aligned with business priorities
- Partner with cross‑functional teams on new product development, research initiatives, and customer programs
- Drive execution, proactively manage risks, and ensure delivery across cost, schedule, quality, and performance targets
- Recruit, develop, and lead engineering talent through coaching and performance management
- Promote disciplined engineering processes from digital design and simulation through validation and production
- Apply best practices such as statistical methods, continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), and emerging digital tools
- Contribute technically to the design of electro‑mechanical systems, including components such as motors, drives, sensors, and precision mechanical assemblies
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years of progressive engineering experience in automation, robotics, or related systems
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a cross‑functional environment
- Strong background in machine design and electro‑mechanical systems, with high mechanical aptitude preferred
- Looking for someone to apply critical thinking skills – ability to analyze complex problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive data‑informed decisions that are right for the team, situation and the company.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
