We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the design and analysis of building structures. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional projects, contributing to structural design, detailing, and coordination. This role requires strong technical skills, familiarity with building codes, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structural design of building systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and modeling using software such as RISA, RAM, or ETABS.
• Prepare design drawings, construction documents, and specifications in coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
• Support senior engineers with design development, project coordination, and construction administration.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and conduct site visits for inspections and verification of structural work.
• Maintain project documentation and participate in internal design reviews

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in structural engineering for buildings.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP
  2000).
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural drafting and modeling.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• EIT certification preferred; working toward PE licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multiple construction materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry).
• Familiarity with seismic and wind design considerations.
• Experience coordinating with architectural and MEP teams.
• Ability to manage small projects or specific tasks independently.
