We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to support new product development initiatives for a leading medical device company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product development, hands‑on product testing, and mechanical or electromechanical medical devices.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7+ years of experience in R&D Engineering or Product Development Engineering
- Hands‑on experience in New Product Development (NPD) and product testing
- Prior experience in the medical device industry
- Experience working with mechanical and/or electromechanical devices
- Strong problem‑solving, design verification, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience supporting design verification and validation (DV&V)
- Knowledge of FDA Design Controls, ISO 13485, and medical device development processes
- Experience with prototype builds, root cause analysis, and design improvements
