Financial Manager, Corporate Finance
Reporting to the CEO & Owner of a premier logistics organization providing customized, customer centric solutions and freight services including Full Truckload, Intermodal, Reefer, and Warehousing. The company is entrepreneurial, performance-driven, and margin-focused, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume transactional environment. Leadership is focused on disciplined growth, operational excellence, and building scalable infrastructure to support the next phase of expansion.
The Controller is accountable for overseeing and developing the Finance and Accounting function and will lead the development and the implementation of all processes and systems supporting the financial control of the company. The Controller is responsible for timely and correct accounting in line with government requirements and rules, this includes close cooperation with the company’s CPA firm. The position supports operating functions within the company to build accurate costing methods for pricing and analysis to stay competitive.
The Controller is also responsible for HR, Payroll, Benefits, Insurance and Legal. The Controller will develop a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
- Progressive financial roles with high-growth companies (7+ years)
- Hands‑on experience with financial statement reporting and ownership of the close process
- Proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity analysis
- Leadership experience within finance and accounting
- Proven ability to partner closely with operations to translate financial insights into action, driving improvements in pricing, margin, efficiency, and overall business performance.
- Expertise in treasury operations, including optimizing working capital and managing cash flow forecasting.
- Working knowledge of HR, legal, tax, and insurance
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. - Location:

- Experience in transportation and logistics; knowledge of industry regulations
- Experience working closely with ownership and executive group
- CPA designation
