Actuarial Support Specialist – Corporate Actuarial Team

Location:

Plymouth, MN or Boston, MA (hybrid schedule).

Role:
Provide quantitative support to the actuarial function through data gathering, analysis, and presentation across various databases.

• Provides strong quantitative support in product development, financial analysis, management reporting, actuarial research, and applying statistical concepts.
• Adept in computer technology, software tools and working with large data sets; runs, maintains, and enhances existing processes.
• Collects, captures, and organizes data and other information from existing sources.
• Manages, maintains, and analyzes data for accuracy; identifies and corrects data issues.
• Generates reports and ad hoc exhibits as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree required. General insurance knowledge is desirable.
• 2‑5 years of related experience in data collection and data analysis is essential.
• Position is not pursuing an actuarial designation, but an incumbent may have a few exams.

Base salary range $74,000 – $106,000, based on location, role experience, and skillset. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA;
Washington DC;
Massachusetts-based offices; and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $94,000 – $110,000.
