Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our Finance team based in our Plymouth, MN offices on a hybrid schedule. This job is responsible for providing strategic recommendations for the US Finance division, driving the annual US and Global Specialty Lines planning processes, analyzing regular financial results, responding to ad hoc requests, and assisting with M&A / due diligence.
Some of the Finance Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the annual US, and GSL financial planning processes, including analyzing planning information and making recommendations.
- Prepare strategic and long-term forecasted financial statements.
- Analyze potential merger, acquisition and divestitures, including modeling the impact to financial statements and ratings, and conducting associated due diligence activities.
- Manages staff development, including training, technical guidance, performance evaluation, and direction regarding policies and procedures.
- Coordinating and executing various special projects for executive and business senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree. Post-Graduate may be required
- Progress toward financial certification CPCU, CFA, CIA, ACAS; CPA designation or progress towards is also sufficient, along with public accounting experience.
- 6-10 years of related experience, with 3-5 years in a senior or management role
The typical base salary range for this position is: $123,000 - $159,000 based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA;
Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $139,000 - $163,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:
