Position Overview
As a Technical Trainer Developer, responsible for designing, developing and delivering technical courses to internal and external customers. Training assignments include providing instruction and developing training curriculum for both hardware and software products and solutions. This position is on‑site at our Global Headquarters in Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities- Technical Training Course Development (Key Actions/Activities – 75%) – Perform audience needs analysis, research product information, develop training materials for operators, administrators, maintenance courses.
- Technical Training Course Delivery (Key Actions/Activities – 25%) – Conduct training classes, instruct using media and methods, conduct follow‑up evaluations.
- Associate’s degree in technical discipline and/or equivalent education and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- 1 or more years experience developing and delivering technical training courses.
- Proficiency with application tools such as PowerPoint, Word, Articulate, Solid Works, Creative Cloud, etc.
- 1 or more years experience interfacing with internal and external customers and managing projects.
- Strong understanding of software principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel, with some international travel required.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization for the U.S.
- Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in education, computer science, or related field. - Preferred:
Experience/knowledge of card personalization industry. - Preferred:
Experience supporting Entrust products and solutions. - Preferred:
Multimedia training development experience. - Preferred:
Multilingual capability.
The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $74,456–$109,203 per year (in the primary posting location). Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
