Inventory and Planning Master Data Leader

- Lead process improvement, execution, and governance for planning master data, including safety stock, lot size, lead time, and stocking status, to optimize planning performance.
- Create and maintain business group inventory financial plans, including operating plans, monthly estimates, and reconciliation of actual results.
- Drive the inventory reduction strategy for the business group by establishing, coordinating, and overseeing cross‑functional inventory reduction initiatives.
- Oversee processes related to surplus and non‑working inventory, inventory build requests, and performance tracking against inventory targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Eight (8) years of combined experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, logistics, sourcing and/or manufacturing in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Three (3) years of combined experience in planning systems, master data management, and/or data analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with SAP and Kinaxis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- ASCM certification, such as CPIM or CSCP.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to connect operational decisions to business outcomes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, leadership and change management skills.
- Experience collaborating with cross‑functional and global teams.
- This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel may include up to 10% domestic/international. Relocation assistance may be authorized.
