Location: 5050 Nathan Lane N. Plymouth, MN 55442

Duration: 12 Months

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM OR 9 AM - 5 PM

Pay Range: $27 - $30 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Buyer I” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

• Create and process purchase orders, both direct and indirect, in accordance with documented procurement processes to include standard, subcontract, stock transfer, down‑payment, and discount orders.
• Plan and schedule deliveries to optimize inventories in support of project demands by working with cross‑functional teams to include engineering, sourcing, planning, category, and shipping‑receiving.
• Process purchase requisitions and confer with vendors to obtain product information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule, reviewing quotes and acknowledgements for accuracy.
• Manage orders through completion and execute invoice resolution through order closure.
• Lead special projects as requested.

• Good working knowledge of Procurement concepts, procedures, and practices
• General knowledge of SAP ERP system preferred
• Will perform this job in a quality system environment
• Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures, and practices

• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing/commodity management.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects.

• HS diploma or GED is acceptable as long as the required/preferred skills/experience is met.
