Our client is seeking a Demand/Supply Planning Manager who enjoys working as a member of a cross-functional team to solve problems and improve performance.

You will be a member of the finance team and will work with other parts of the organization and team members to maximize success for the company and its customers.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead enterprise-wide Integrated Business Planning process, gaining organizational consensus on assumptions and actions to meet & exceed customer expectations.
  • Facilitate demand planning discussions with Commercial and Finance partners, using statistical methods, industry trends, customer forecasts, and market assumptions to arrive at consensus demand forecasts at an actionable level of granularity (i.e. product hierarchy, SKU, & customer level details).
  • Integrate consensus demand forecast into the supply planning process, partnering with Operations and Supply Chain leaders to develop and project operational capacity and ensure material availability to fulfill customer demand, meeting or exceeding industry lead times.
  • Facilitate the final reconciliation of risks and opportunities presented in the cycle with Product Owners and Finance to arrive at a consensus forecast that will be the guideline for execution.
  • Develop best practices for demand & supply planning in a custom solution environment, adapting to the unique & evolving needs of a growing business.
  • Coordinate high-impact customer opportunities throughout the quote-to-shipment process, ensuring appropriate cross-functional hand-offs to ensure successful execution.
  • Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain teams to develop inventory management strategies, balancing customer needs with capacity capabilities to achieve ideal inventory levels to serve both customer demand and cash efficiencies.
  • Incorporate new offering introduction and product lifecycle management decisions into demand and supply plans, coordinating ramp-up / down plans.
  • Lead executive integrated business planning reviews, clearly articulating to senior leadership forecast assumptions, as well as capabilities needed to execute in a high-growth environment.
  • Identify leading indicators of forecast accuracy and bias to facilitate a continuous improvement mindset with both the process and collaborators.
  • Drive efforts to enhance planning capabilities, identifying and implementing systematic improvements to demand and supply planning.

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Finance, Supply Chain, Business Management, or other quantitative fields
  • Minimum of 7years of experience in demand or supply planning, financial forecasting, supply chain management, or other planning roles
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong focus on managing, manipulating, and presenting large data sets
  • Proficient use of financial systems and Microsoft Office tools, including advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with ERP and other demand planning systems
  • Demonstrated ability to document, streamline, and automate complex processes
  • Excellent communication skills, with a bias towards collaboration and teamwork
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10%
