Interim Supply Chain Executive – Manufacturing

We are seeking an Interim Supply Chain Executive to lead and strengthen the supply chain function of a multi-site manufacturing organization in Minnesota.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the selected executive will be responsible for stabilizing supply chain operations, improving execution across the manufacturing network, and delivering measurable improvements in service, inventory, planning, procurement, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly assume leadership of the supply chain function across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Execute the organization’s supply chain priorities and operational improvement initiatives.
• Stabilize material availability, production planning, inventory, and supplier performance.
• Improve service levels, delivery performance, working capital, and overall supply chain reliability.
• Strengthen the Sales and Operations Planning process and alignment between demand, supply,and production.
• Identify and resolve critical supplier, material, logistics, and capacity constraints.
• Establish clear performance indicators, operating routines, and accountability across the organization.
• Work closely with operations, procurement, planning, logistics, finance, and commercial leadership.
• Develop and mobilize the supply chain team around the company’s immediate priorities.
• Provide regular progress updates to the CEO and the xNorth Partner overseeing the mandate.

Candidate Profile

• Significant executive-level supply chain leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success leading supply chain stabilization, transformation, or performance improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing complex, multi-site manufacturing operations.
• Strong expertise in planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, supplier performance, and S&OP.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, and highly execution-oriented leadership style.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to rapidly identify operational priorities.
• Proven ability to mobilize teams, drive accountability, and deliver measurable results.
• Experience in industrial equipment, automotive, powersports, or a related manufacturing sector would be considered an asset.
