Position: Procurement Specialist (Labor Buyer)

THE RIGHT STAFF has partnered with a leading energy management company in Plymouth, MN, in their search for a Procurement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing procurement team responsible for sourcing and managing third-party labor partners that support nationwide energy efficiency and lighting installation  this role, you will identify, qualify, negotiate with, and manage a network of regional and national labor partners while helping ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.

You'll work cross-functionally with project teams, operations, and vendors to build strategic partnerships that drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:

3+ years of procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience

Experience negotiating pricing, contracts, or service agreements with third-party vendors

Strong relationship-building and supplier management skills

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications

Experience working within ERP systems such as Oracle or similar platforms

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience sourcing and managing labor vendors, subcontractors, or field service providers

Experience supporting commercial construction, electrical, lighting, facilities, industrial, or retail projects

Knowledge of contractor licensing, insurance requirements, and labor compliance

Experience using Salesforce, Oracle, and Smartsheet Resource planning or workforce allocation experience is a plus Position Details, Pay, &

Schedule:

Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity

Position is 100% Onsite in Plymouth, MN

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (core business hours)
Compensation: $67,000-$80,000 annually, depending on experience
15% annual company bonus

Approximately 10% travel, including occasional overnight travel
