Operations Manager
Project Managers are responsible for directing and coordinating large customer projects, including industrial fans and air moving equipment. This includes meeting with customers to set expectations, organizing and scheduling project tasks, communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders, managing project budgets and paperwork, and providing leadership and direction to cross‑functional teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage the coordination, planning, schedule, execution and outcome of new product development projects.
- Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
- Support training and development for new hire onboarding.
- Ownership of activities concerned with scheduling and coordinating engineering design and test issues and bring to resolution.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.
- Lead and motivate others, by providing purpose, direction, and encouragement.
- Responsible for managing project timeline within budget.
- Track project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or finances of the project to meet customer needs.
- Delegate tasks to other team members and provide feedback or guidance as needed.
- Coordinate the activities across cross‑functional team, including Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Field Service departments.
- Prepare project cost estimates and determine overall budget.
- Coordinate and participate in the review of customer specifications, project requirements, and schedules for compliance with company standards and determine needed support activities to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Communicate all identified clarifications and exceptions to the customer and obtain approval.
- Develop documentation per company procedure and appropriate standards and follow up with internal groups on proper handling of documents as needed.
- Responsible for handling technical submittals to customer.
- Prepare interim and completion project reports.

- Other duties as assigned.
- Three to five years project related experience, including scheduling and project budget management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Office, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Experience creating and employing spreadsheets, Gantt charts, timelines, flowcharts, and other diagrams.
- Ability to independently lead most projects with minimal instruction or guidance.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of how to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Demonstrated people-oriented capabilities, including responding to common inquiries or feedback from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Effective presentation skills and ability to present information to management, public groups, or boards of directors.
- Ability to travel to manufacturing facilities and customer sites up to 25% of the time, if needed.
