The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for supporting day‑to‑day manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and assisting engineers with equipment setup, calibration, validation, and process improvements. The role involves hands‑on production support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies
- Support engineers with equipment setup, calibration, and process adjustments
- Perform corrective, preventive, and calibration maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Install and validate equipment and processes to improve yield and reduce cycle time, following established validation procedures
- Evaluate operating data and make real‑time adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment
- Participate in the Material Review Board (MRB) decision‑making process
- Identify manufacturing‑related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Perform rework, inspections, and quality testing as required
- Assist in developing, revising, and maintaining manufacturing documents and procedures
- Certify and train manufacturing associates on production processes
- Evaluate and order required equipment, tools, and fixtures
- Work with engineers to conduct experiments and process improvement activities
- Comply with all Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
- Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain compliance with QSR and ISO standards at all times
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
- Ability to perform equipment setup, calibration, and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Effective communication and collaboration with engineering and production teams
