Join our team as a Quality Specialist, where you'll ensure world-class standards by inspecting and testing materials and products, collaborating with Engineering, and supporting compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Perform analyses, inspections, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, quantitative assays on samples, and/or finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements, and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties.
- Perform a variety of qualitative tests or qualitative assays on samples, and aid in maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus to ensure compliance.
- Perform required inspections, checks, analysis, and documentation of studies.
- Prepare and monitor quality statistics and reports.
- Review production records for conformance to procedures.
- Conduct non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.
- Prepare and write reports along with Engineering counterparts.
- Partner and assist in the resolution of incidents within Operations.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous medical device manufacturing experience.
- Previous manufacturing experience in relevant discipline.
- Previous Regulatory Standard experience such as ISO
13485 or ISO
9001. - Working knowledge of SAP suite or other planning systems.
- Ability to generate customer value—listening, understanding, anticipating, and solving problems.
- Software skills including MS Office (Excel and Power BI focus).
- Ability to prioritize and balance workload of multiple project assignments based on business and functional objectives.
- Strong planning and execution skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral).
- Associate's Degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent (United States), vocational or technical education or certification (all other countries).
