CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

Job description

The Machinist is responsible for fabrication and layout on a variety of parts or products involving close tolerances. Must set up and operate all machine shop machines to cut, bend, machine or form parts.

Essential Functions

• Accountable for the quality of work performed in the machine shop area.
• Responsible for fabrication and layout on a variety of parts or products involving close tolerances.
• Must set up and operate all machine shop machines to cut, bend, machine, or form parts.
• Uses a variety of machine shop hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Assist Group Lead in all functions of the machine shop including workflow and process improvement.
• Perform all job assignments as instructed by the Plant Manager and/or Group Lead.

Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Required

• One-year certificate from college or technical school and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate

• Plymouth, MN 55442:
  Relocate before starting work (Required)
