Job DescriptionThe CNC Machine Operator (HAAS) is an operations team member with the primary goal of satisfying customer requirements of quality and delivery, by operating CNC machining centers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate CNC machining centers in accordance with industry standards, including program edits, setting up of tooling, and general machine set-up.
- Perform secondary deburring and packaging of finished parts.
- Move products to appropriate locations using equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and pallet jacks (company forklift training is provided).
- Work with newer HAAS machining centers that have integrated probing and network communications.
Part sizes range from small (less than 1/4lb) to large (2000lb). Pay Range: $23.32 - $24.32 per hour.
Qualifications- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC milling centers with large parts in a heavy manufacturing environment, or a 2-year technical degree in machining.
- Able to edit programs and adjust fixture & cutter compensation; tool offsets, RPM & feed rates, and program details such as X-Y-Z locations.
- Overall understanding of optimizing CNC programs as needed.
- Intermediate knowledge of HAAS controls.
