Job Description

As a Semiconductor Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing and testing of MEMS devices. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining semiconductor equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the production process. Your expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to quality and safety will contribute to the success of our semiconductor manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Semiconductor Operations Manager and work out of our Plymouth, MN office. In this role, you will impact the quality and efficiency of our MEMS manufacturing process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards and customer requirements.

This posting is for a weekend overnight shift position, Friday through Sunday, 5 PM to 5:30 AM. Please note that training may occur on an alternative shift to what is listed here.

Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned equipment and run required processes, supporting MEMS Wafer Fab.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Support the Honeywell Operating System.
  • Comply with all safety rules.
  • Analyze data and production reports.
  • Run qualifications and perform inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Record and report production data.
Qualifications

Annual base salary range $65,000.00–$97,600.00. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including scope and responsibilities, candidate’s work experience, education, key skills, and market and business considerations.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or a person with protected status under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience in manufacturing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and protocol.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work independently.
  • Due to contractual requirements, candidates must be a U.S. person.
WE VALUE
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associate degree in Electronics or a related field.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor equipment and processes.
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
