** In this dynamic role on the Plymouth Nathan Lane team, you will be responsible for sustaining and enhancing a variety of production processes. Projects supported in this role can range from capacity expansion, equipment end-of-life replacement, yield improvement, automation, and quality enhancement. This position involves collaboration with various cross-functional teams both inside and outside of the plant. In-person exchanges are invaluable to our work. We're working a minimum of 5 days a week onsite as part of our commitment to fostering a culture of professional growth and cross functional collaboration as we work together to engineer the extraordinary. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
* Provides technical support to engineers to achieve improvements in cycle-time, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes and products.
* Monitors instruments and equipment and collects operating data, including calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities, to assist in making on-line adjustments to instruments, equipment, or products.
* Analyzes and resolves malfunctions and deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems.
* Conducts, analyses and prepares reports using metrics from salvage tracking, trending, reporting and root-cause analyses.
* Maintains process designs to optimize process, equipment and facility use while conforming to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
* Apply appropriate technical skills and tools, such as DOE, hypothesis testing, capability studies, and lean manufacturing tools, to perform in depth analysis, determine root cause, and identify corrective actions.

** Requires 5+ years of relevant technical experience, which may include a combination of practical experience and applicable training, education, or certification.
* No minimum education requirement

Nice to have:
* Experience supporting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume medical device manufacturing environment.
* Hands-on exposure to automation technologies such as PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, vision inspection systems, automated assembly, or test systems.
* Ability to assist with troubleshooting automated equipment issues, including sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and basic electrical components.
* Experience collecting and reviewing equipment or process data to support yield improvement, downtime reduction, or continuous improvement initiatives.
