Job Description

The Machine Operator – Oxy Burning is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring oxy-fuel cutting equipment to cut carbon steel plate and other materials according to work orders, drawings, and quality specifications. This role ensures accurate cuts, proper identification of parts, and adherence to safety and production standards.

Pay Range: $27.50 - $28.50 per hour

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and basic drawings
• Knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting principles and safe gas handling practices
• Experience with overhead crane operation and material handling
• Proficiency in the use of measuring instruments
• Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
• Ability to work 2nd shift, 3:00pm - 11:00pm M-F
