We are growing and ramping up production at our Plymouth manufacturing facility and are looking for highly energized, positive, hands‑on Production Line Leads who can help build strong, accountable production teams.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment, leading from the floor, developing employees, and using metrics and measurable results to improve daily performance.

Our second shift is especially new and growing, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping establish routines, expectations, and a strong team culture from the ground up.

The ideal Line Lead is upbeat, organized, solutions-focused, comfortable with change, and able to balance people leadership with production execution.

What You’ll Do

As a Production Line Lead, you will help coordinate the people, processes, training, and daily performance of an assigned production line.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate daily production activities for an assigned line or work area
  • Help ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and consistently
  • Track and communicate key production metrics and performance measurements
    , including:
    • Output and production attainment
    • Labor utilization
    • Efficiency and productivity
    • Downtime
    • Waste and rework
    • Quality results
    • Attendance and staffing
    • Training progress
  • Effectively manage and adjust daily employee rosters and line assignments based on production needs, employee skills, attendance, and workflow
  • Ensure the right employees are positioned in the right jobs to support production goals
  • Conduct strong shift starts, communicate priorities, and maintain focus throughout the shift
  • Identify production obstacles and elevate or resolve issues quickly
  • Coach employees on performance expectations and reinforce accountability
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and highly engaged work environment
  • Support onboarding and training of new and existing employees
  • Use Training Within Industry (TWI), Job Instruction, standardized work, or similar structured training methodologies to help employees learn jobs safely and consistently
  • Verify that employees can demonstrate required job skills before working independently
  • Help maintain and improve training matrices and employee skill records
  • Work closely with production leadership, quality, maintenance, safety, HR, and other departments
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, labor utilization, quality, training, and efficiency
  • Reinforce food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Help create a culture where employees understand both what is expected and how their individual performance impacts the larger operation
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for individuals who bring energy and leadership to the production floor.

Strong candidates will have:

  • Manufacturing, production, food manufacturing, warehouse, or similar operational experience
  • Previous lead, trainer, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong ability to organize employees and manage changing daily staffing needs
  • Comfort working with production numbers, metrics, dashboards, or other performance measurements
  • Ability to recognize when performance is off target and take appropriate action
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to train employees using clear, repeatable job instruction
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and operational details
  • Ability to remain organized and positive in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to learn, solve problems, and find a way forward when circumstances change
  • Ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a respectful and supportive work environment
  • Basic computer and data‑entry skills
1st Shift Language Requirement

For 1st Shift Line Lead positions, fluency in both Spanish and English is required due to the needs of the workforce and the importance of clear communication, training, coaching, and safety instruction.
