Shift: 1st Shift - 6am-4:30pm, M-Th, OT on Friday
Pay: $27.00-$36.00/hr

Job SummaryWe are seeking skilled TIG Welders to perform precision welding on thin-gauge stainless steel used in custom food-grade processing equipment. This role involves welding, fabrication, blueprint interpretation, and working with highly detailed custom projects in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Perform TIG (GTAW/Heliarc) welding on thin stainless steel and custom food-grade equipment.
- Utilize MIG/GMAW welding as needed for fabrication projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and GD&T specifications.
- Fabricate and assemble custom, prototype, and short-run equipment to customer specifications.
- Set up fixtures, tooling, and welding equipment for various welding processes.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Operate hand tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 welding procedures and standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all PPE requirements.
- Minimum of 7 years of welding experience.
- Strong TIG welding experience on stainless steel.
- Experience working with food-grade stainless steel preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Strong math and measurement skills.
- Experience with fixturing and setup activities.
- Knowledge of welding codes and standards including ASME Section IX and/or AWS D1.1.
- Ability to perform high-quality welds in horizontal, vertical, overhead, and all-position applications.
- Experience building custom machinery or equipment for the food industry.
- Familiarity with prototype or low-volume fabrication environments.
- Experience with GD&T and complex weldments.
- AWS and/or ASME welding certifications.
Successful candidates will:
- Demonstrate high-quality TIG and MIG welding skills from day one.
- Possess working knowledge of thin stainless steel fabrication.
- Continuously develop and improve welding techniques and fabrication skills.
- Produce precision welds that meet Anderson & Dahlen's quality standards.
- Temperature-controlled fabrication facility.
- Custom fabrication and prototype production environment.

- On-site position requiring steel-toed boots and welding helmet.

This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $36.00/hr.
