We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Batch Record Coordinator to join our team and contribute to this mission.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

The Batch Record Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely closure of production batch records. This role supports Operations by reviewing product documentation, reconciling material usage, confirming scrap counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Review and complete production batch records to ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Verify all required documentation, approvals, and data entries prior to batch closure.
  • Confirm and reconcile scrap quantities against production records, inventory transactions, and physical counts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to material usage, scrap reporting, and batch documentation.
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Inventory Control teams to obtain missing information and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Ensure batch records are closed within established timelines and according to company standards.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records in accordance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Support inventory accuracy by validating production yields, material consumption, and scrap reporting.
  • Identify trends or recurring issues related to batch record errors or scrap discrepancies and communicate findings to management.
  • Participate in audits and provide documentation as requested.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, accuracy, and documentation control.

Safety Protocol:

  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications

Education / Experience /

Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in GMP food manufacturing, production administration, inventory control, quality systems, or a related environment preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with ERP systems and productions records preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Skills Required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments at all levels of the organization.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory transactions, and material reconciliation.
