** The Team:
** This position is a part of the engineering and support management teams. This position works with and supports all co-workers and teams within the production process.

* The Role:

** This position works with production equipment to perform corrective and preventative maintenance for better equipment operation and process flow.## Responsibilities & Qualifications
** Responsibilities:
*** Performs corrective maintenance and repairing on equipment used in the electronic industry
* Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and work orders assigned on equipment used in the electronic industry
* Ability to understand and use work instructions, manufacturing instructions, and equipment manuals to troubleshoot and resolves equipment issues
* Assists Production Machine Operators in troubleshooting equipment problems successfully, work with leadership on training and process improvements
* Assist with production machine start-up/shut-down as needed
* Participates in continuous improvement activities
* Complies and follows all company safety policies and procedures
* Operates production equipment when production is short-staffed
* Be a mentor for production operators
* Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
** Qualifications include but not limited to:
*** Experience working in manufacturing required
* Electro-mechanical background preferred
* 2-year Technical degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Working knowledge of productivity tools, examples may include Microsoft Office and quality management software
* Must demonstrate mechanical competency
* Ability to use hand/power tools
* Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, and independent judgment.  Uses professional and respectful communication with others
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Effective organization and prioritization skills
* Demonstrate high attention to detail
* Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
* The ability to work extended hours and weekends on a rotating schedule if needed
* Ability to pass standard position assessment within 90 days of employment
* Military experience in electronic installation/repair, mechanical repair, and facility maintenance a plus

* Physical Requirements:

*** Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
* Frequent standing, bending and reaching
** Travel:
*** Limited travel between all RIS facilities
* Infrequent travel for trainings and/or business needs may be required
** Work Environment:
*** Manufacturing production floor
