Position Summary:

The Cutter Operator is responsible for programing, setting up, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining automated die cutting equipment that supplies paper stock to the converting department in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.

• Program layout specifications, perform set ups on cutting and loading equipment to job specifications and standard work.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive, emergency, and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain production records, equipment logs and computer software entry accurately and timely.
• Provide critical information and feedback to Scheduling and Production Supervision regarding job status.
• Comply with all good housekeeping and safety requirements and ensure the safety of others throughout the facility.
• Operate forklift safely and maintain updated certification

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three years of die cutting experience.
• Accurate skills in math and ruling; attention to precision and detail.
• Demonstrated positive communication and openness to process improvement.
• Demonstrated punctual work attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
