As an Electromechanical Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and reliability of advanced medical technology. You will be responsible for validating system performance, diagnosing complex technical issues, and driving continuous improvement to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

As an Electromechanical Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and reliability of advanced medical technology. You will be responsible for validating system performance, diagnosing complex technical issues, and driving continuous improvement to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive functional testing on complex systems, subassemblies, and components to verify operational integrity.
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance inspections throughout the assembly process to mitigate defects and ensure end-user safety.
  • Configure and calibrate sophisticated testing equipment to maintain accurate performance metrics and data collection.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate electrical and mechanical system failures, conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain meticulous manufacturing records and documentation to ensure full compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to address technical challenges and optimize assembly workflows.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S and Kaizen, to enhance daily operational efficiency and workplace organization.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience in electronic repair, or a two-year technical degree in electronics.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex schematic drawings, assembly blueprints and bills of materials.
  • Strong technical aptitude in troubleshooting hydraulic components, solenoids, relays, pumps and PLC systems.
  • Competency with diagnostic instrumentation including ohm meters, frequency meters and related testing tools.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically for data logging and reporting.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 70 lbs.
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience in electromechanical troubleshooting within the medical device or regulated manufacturing sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in coordinating technical communication across multiple departments.
  • Familiarity with the maintenance or testing of sterilization equipment.
