Bright Star Care of Plymouth is a growing home‑care agency seeking talented Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to provide in‑home one‑on‑one personal care and homemaking for clients within our territory.
We can accommodate nursing aides needing 10‑25 hours per week. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm and occasional weekends. We can build out a schedule for you!
- $20‑$23 per hour, depending on experience
- 401(k) plan with 4% company match
- Paid drive time and travel reimbursement (paid mileage)
- Flexible scheduling during the day
- Full‑time employees are eligible for 50% reimbursement for employee‑only medical and dental premiums
This is a traveling position. Must be able to drive within these service areas: Plymouth, Maple Grove, New Hope, Crystal, Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Wayzata, Minnetonka, St. Michael, Rogers, Rockford, Buffalo, Delano and Maple Plain.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry (required)
- CPR certified
- Minimum one year of experience as a caregiver (preferred but not required)
- Must be able to travel up to 25 miles within the company’s territory, as needed
- Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable transportation
- Smart‑phone to use mobile apps for schedules and clocking in/out
- Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
- Perform activities of daily living (ADL) as directed, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding
- Perform linen changes and light housekeeping
- Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight
- Monitor client’s condition changes, chart, and report to the Director of Nursing
- Assist client in active and passive range‑of‑motion exercises per plan of care and provide assistance to doctor appointments and other outdoor activities as needed
- Other duties assigned by DON, including computer work in the office if necessary
