We are seeking a detail oriented Quality Inspector for a Plymouth MN manufacturing firm. You will be on the floor doing 1st article inspections of aerospace/defense machined parts. You will be using surface plate mostly and occasionally Hexigon/Brown & Sharp CMM inspecting tight tolerances on small aerospace parts. YOU MUST BE AUTORIZED TO WORK PERMANENTLY IN THE US/ YOU MUST BE A RESIDET OF THE TWIN CITIES.
- First article quality checks on the production floor
- Inspecting very tight tolerance aerospace parts
- Working closely with machinists to assure parts are perfect
- Solid background in mechanical inspection of very tight tolerance parts
- Experience testing machined parts for aerospace and defense use
- CMM-Brown and Sharp Hexagon experience
- Solid GD&T
