Position Summary

The National Sales Support Representative (NSSR) is a high-level support role designed to provide seamless coordination across all CDI locations. The NSSR manages accounts on a national scale, ensuring consistency in quoting, ordering, and communication. This role acts as a strategic partner to the sales teams and tracking regional goals.

Core Functions National Coordination & Strategy
  • Regional Oversight: Communicate daily with plant sales teams regarding regional orders and national account needs.
  • Goal Tracking: Monitor individual plant goals each month to ensure performance stays on track.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend weekly 1-on-1s with the National Sales Representative (NSR).
  • Training & Mentorship: Assist in the onboarding and technical training of all new CDI Sales Support Representatives.
Account Management & Quoting
  • Rapid Response: Manage customer accounts and provide fast, accurate responses to daily needs, specifically focusing on a quick turnaround for quote requests.
  • Order Management: Create and process daily orders in a timely manner, including rush requests, and follow through on all details with customers and CDI staff.
  • Troubleshooting: Review pending orders and customer requests to ensure total satisfaction; provide technical troubleshooting assistance for complex orders.
Data, Reporting & Administration
  • KPI Development: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales and staff members to measure success.
  • Sales Intelligence: Compile daily lists of sales leads, delegate to the sales department, and utilize tracking tools to report on sales trends and data.
  • Documentation: Maintain an organized and accessible digital filing system within Google Drive and perform necessary data entry.
  • Strategy: Brainstorm within the department to develop new sales strategies and schedule customer meetings or conferences as needed.
Requirements

  • Effectively build relationships with customers – both internally and externally
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Minimum three years of experience in sales specific to HVAC industry
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills.
  • Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
