Position: Service (Maintenance) Technician

Park Place Apartments – Plymouth, Minnesota

Schedule:

Tuesday–Saturday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $20.00–$23.00/hr, dependent on credentials, experience, and location.

Position:
Service (Maintenance) Technician A Day in the Life

As an entry‑level Maintenance Technician, help prepare new apartment homes for residents. Assist with routine repairs of building systems and complete service requests. Support upkeep of property buildings and grounds, providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, carpentry, appliance repairs, painting/drywall, etc.
  • Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of property buildings and grounds.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vacant units prior to new resident occupancy.
  • Respond to resident service requests; enter and track requests using a work order system.
  • Keep all amenity areas clean and operable. Seasonally assist with snow removal and groundskeeping.
Requirements
  • Must be available for on‑call work (possible evening, weekend, overnight calls) via a rotating schedule.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to learn and complete plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting tasks. Prior knowledge helpful but not required.
