Electrical / Mechanical Technician – Smart Vending Equipment
We are seeking an experienced mechanical and electrical technician to join our growing Advanced Supply team! In this role you would build, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of networked vending equipment for our manufacturing customers. If you have worked as a Security System Technician or Low Voltage Technician, this would be a great fit!
The ideal candidate would be mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities
- Build, troubleshoot, and repair computer networked vending equipment.
- Mechanical assembly. Fabricate and assemble mechanical components – cabinets, drawers, coils, etc.
- Electrical assembly. Basic assembly, wiring and soldering.
- Basic computer networking.
- Test new software features.
- Use of hand and power tools to complete specified assembly standards.
- Closely follow instructions, drawings, and schematics.
- Occasional travel to customer locations.
- Maintain organized and clean work area.
- Loading and moving vending equipment using a forklift.
Requirements
- Proven experience in low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical issues. Proficiency with hand and power tools, wiring, wire trimming, soldering, etc.
- Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to use hand tools and work through break/fix scenarios independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Networking skills including basic understanding of IP networks, knowledge of LAN/WAN systems and wireless networks.
- Computer Hardware knowledge – I/O devices such as handheld scanners, monitors, and related hardware.
- Forklift experience helpful, but we are willing to train.
- Experience interfacing with team members - ability to relay technical information in a concise manner.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Certification.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift, pull and/or push up to 35 pounds.
- May require bending, standing, stooping or kneeling for extended periods.
- Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height.
