Paint Prep Laborer
Join our team as a Paint Prep Laborer, where you will play a critical role in preparing vehicles for painting by assembling and disassembling them. Your tasks will include sanding, scuffing, and performing daily preventative maintenance on painting equipment. You will also operate the spray gun for applying bed liners and follow detailed work orders throughout the day.
Responsibilities- Assemble and disassemble vehicles for painting.

- Perform daily preventative maintenance on painting equipment.
- Operate the spray gun for applying bed liners.
- Follow work orders throughout the day to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- 1 year of prior paint prep experience.

- Experience with paint prep, painting, mechanical assembly, and use of spray guns.

WorkEnvironment
Work in a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages, similar to a truck dealership. Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and installers in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include painting, fabricating, installing, welding, and interacting with customers in our showroom. Some responsibilities will take you outside to test equipment. Uniforms are supplied, and the facility includes 3 paint booths, a sand blasting station, and mechanical/fabrication station where work is conducted on big municipal trucks, dump trucks, and large semi-trucks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Crystal, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
