Thispositionwillberesponsiblefordiagnosing,servicing,repairing,andmaintainingHVACsystemsforcustomersthroughoutthe Twin Citiesmetroarea .

TheidealcandidateisanexperiencedHVACprofessionalwhoiscomfortableworkingindependently,takesownershipofservicecallsfromdiagnosisthroughcompletion,andtakesprideindeliveringqualityworkmanshipandexceptionalcustomerservice.

AsanHVACService

Technician,youwill:

• Diagnose,troubleshoot,service,andrepairresidentialandcommercialHVACsystemsandequipment.
• Performplannedandpreventativemaintenanceaccordingtocustomeragreementsandmanufacturerrecommendations.
• Identifynecessaryrepairs,replacement parts,andadditionalserviceneeds.
• Clearlycommunicatefindings,recommendations,progress,andconcernswithcustomers.
• CompletewarrantyserviceandrepairsoninstalledHVACequipment.
• Ensurenecessarymaterials,parts,andequipmentareidentifiedandorderedinatimelymanner.
• Accuratelycompleteservicedocumentationandrequiredpaperwork.
• Provideguidanceandsupporttoapprenticesandless-experiencedteammemberswhenapplicable.
• Maintaincompanytools,equipment,andvehiclesinaprofessionalmanner.
• Followallcompanysafetypolicies,procedures,andapplicableregulations.
• Maintainacleanandsafeworkenvironmentatcustomerlocations.
• Participateinarotatingon-callscheduleasrequired.
• Workcollaborativelywiththe Plymouthteamandother Ellingsondepartmentstoprovideanexceptionalcustomerexperience .

• PreviousHVACservice,maintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairexperience.
• StrongknowledgeofHVACsystems,equipment,materials,methods,andtools.
• AbilitytoindependentlydiagnoseandtroubleshootmechanicalandelectricalHVACissues.
• Understandingofapplicablebuildingcodes,safety requirements,andindustrystandards.
• EPA Section

  Certification preferred.
• Strong problem-solvingskillsandattentiontodetail.
• Abilitytomanageservicecallsefficientlyandworkindependentlyinthefield.
• Excellentcommunicationandcustomerserviceskills.
• Abilitytoworkeffectivelywithcustomers,coworkers,apprentices,andothertrades.
• Valid driver'slicenseandacceptabledrivingrecord.
• AbilitytomeetthephysicalrequirementsassociatedwithHVACservicework.
