IOCP is searching for its next Case Manager with a focus on early childhood and parenting in IOCP’s Caring for Kids (CfK) Program. CfK supports families and their little ones through provision of childcare scholarships to attend local daycare centers as well as wrap‑around supports to foster two‑generational success during the earliest years. • Case management: building ongoing relationships with clients, supporting financial stability through review and budgeting, navigating crises, and empowering clients to create and follow plans to reach personal goals and improve stability. The role connects clients to external resources, offers budgeting and financial assistance, and provides information, referrals, advocacy, counseling, and problem‑solving support.
• Caring for Kids program administration and support:
  Continuous learning and best practices to support young children and families; equipping parents with tools to understand and support their child’s development; empowering parents to partner with early‑childhood providers; supporting colleagues with parenting and developmental challenges; connecting colleagues’ clients to parenting and child‑development resources; collaborating with early‑childhood mental‑health staff; regular contact with partner childcare centers and community partners.
• Foster two‑generational success through coordination across IOCP programs to engage parents with basic‑needs and stability services as needed, ensuring continuity of participant relationships and consistent service delivery. Participate in case‑management program and client review sessions and support continuous quality improvement.
• Administer rent‑assistance programs: assess client need for short‑term rent assistance, determine eligibility, collect documentation, create rent‑assistance plans, monitor progress, facilitate rent payment requests, and engage property managers.

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a social services or educational setting
• Experience providing case‑management services to individuals and families
• Thorough understanding of the case‑management process
• General working knowledge of human‑service, support, and educational providers
• Ability to creatively problem‑solve and complete complex tasks
• Excellent organization and time‑management skills
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and within a team
• Demonstrated ability to excel in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a calm approach to work during busy times
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• 2+ years of experience providing case‑management services to individuals and families
• Social Work license
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, Somali, or Russian
