A McDonald's Certified Swing Manager is a trained and certified leader responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts. They conduct travel paths, ensure critical control points are being followed, and take immediate corrective action when standards are not met.

Financial stewardship is also a key responsibility. The Certified Swing Manager manages labor deployment to support sales volume while controlling costs. They monitor waste, complete product counts as required, and protect company assets by following cash-handling and security procedures.

Leadership and team development are central to the position. The Certified Swing Manager trains and coaches crew members on procedures, service behaviors, and brand standards.
