this need requires labor & delivery and obstetrics experience. From check-in to discharge, a travel nurse is needed who is comfortable in all aspects of delivery and after care.

demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The rn must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.
speare ob unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including (but not limited to):
- preterm labor
- high blood pressure
- diabetes
- vbac (vaginal birth after cesarean section)
- prenatal testing
- amniocentesis
- childbirth education classes

- apgar/routine testing experience - required
- awhonn and stable - strongly preferred - travelers with one or both of these certifications will receive first consideration
- lactation experience - preferred
- bsn - highly preferred
- previous travel - preferred
- work history
- skills checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year
- 1 supervisory signed reference (from within the past two years of employment)
- license/certifications - must be uploaded with profile (current nursys, bls, nrp and march 18 start date - facility will not pend license/certs)

weekend requirements : some weekend shifts required as needed /holiday rotation required
