Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress.

The OB Unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including:

• Preterm Labor
• High blood pressure
• Diabetes
• VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section)
• Prenatal testing
• Amniocentesis
• Childbirth education classes

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified  REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!

NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Submission requirements:

• 2 years current OB/L&D experience
  - Required
• Mother/Baby experience
  - Required
• BSN
  - Highly preferred
• Previous travel
  - Preferred

Certification requirements:

• BLS (AHA)
• NRP

State license requirements:

• New Hampshire
