American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring high-risk OB experience and current fetal monitoring skills.

• Work in a Labor & Delivery/OB unit managing high-risk pregnancies
• Manages conditions such as preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, and amniocentesis
• Provides childbirth education classes
• Care spans patient check-in through pre/post care and discharge
• Rotating day and night shifts, two days and one night per week, 36 hours weekly
• 12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements

• Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery/OB experience required
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Labor & Delivery skills checklist completed within the past year required
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• RTO requests should be limited to 5 days
